Domination Throughout The Nation.

This is definately movie music, i can see this in a Lord Of The Rings or a movie similar. I love the strings and the driving percussion is very enjoyable.

This is great.

Cheers. :)

MaestroRage responds:

Well i'm not out to destroy anything in any Mount Doom's, but I do want to throw in a Britney Spears cd into it... I wonder how quickly the volcano would explode in its rage...

In any case, i'm glad you liked the piece, thank you for the review ^^.

Enjoyed.

Yeah, i liked this track. It loved the driving bass, maybe a bit dirty around the edges, but not too noticable.

I like high synth that comes in later in the track, i just feel that the beat needs to be more bassy and higher volume'(d) so that the track has a bit more drive.

Enjoyed, and be sure to check out my audio!

Cheers. :)

Glowing Darkness.

Starts very dark, and has some nice variety, but i think you chose the wrong synths for this kind of track. When you break into the lighter stuff, it's a sloppy transition, you need to use some panning and fading and some pitch change, because it'll help your transitions.

If i'm being totally honest, i didn't like this track, but i do feel you need to keep producing music mate, and maybe learn Reason or Cubase, because you'll get no where in Garageband.

Cheers. :)

Music-story responds:

Hmm,well one good thing is I know now how to make my own loops. The bad thing is I don't know how to pan and fade anything yet. Note:I did do some pitch change. That I can do. I'm still in the learning process with garageband 3. Logic is the better program for mac but it is really expensive. If you can tell me how to pan and fade with garageband 3 please tell me. I take too long to learn things. Besides that...DARK??? that was not my intention..I wanted a cherry happy song. Thanks for review

Professional.

Very professional sounding piece, is it original? The only problems with this track i have is :

A) Quality.
B) Lead is too high.
C) Lack of variety to percussion.

What i love :

A) Pad.
B) Filtered Lead.
C) The Beat.

Check out my stuff!

:)

Winterwind-NS responds:

A.) yeah i had to sacrifice quality to submit a 6:14 long song heh
B.) i guess
C.) Sowwy

A.) yay
B.) yay
C.) yay

i'll check out ur stuff soon!
thanks for the review

Attempted Perfection.

The track's SFX are amazing, seems to be your strength at dance/trance stuff. I loved the begining bass and beat and percussion. It was annoying the way you suddenly cut everything and went to the pad which also came out of nowhere, but the bass really helps this track to drive on.

Cheers.

Review some of my stuff also, please. :)

D-Hawk-2007 responds:

thanks, I will keep that in might for my nest music, thanks alot!

HardStuff.

I liked the beginning, and the sound effects were very nice. I love when you introduce the synth and the percussion, it's a nice addition. The beat is a bit of a disappointment because it's so high toned or pitched, maybe an EQ problem? But it's not too noticable unless you make it, which i usually do. I can hear some nice VEC samples in this being used well. The lead is nice, it's nicely filtered in and out and it explodes well enough, but when you expect a big energetic driving track, it's exactly what you get, but the track overall is a bit plain, i mean you've got SFX and a lead, bass and beat and percussion. It just feels like somethings missing. Hope you enjoyed this review.

Please check out my stuff!

Cheers. :)

MattBlair responds:

Thank you very much for your review! I hope to be seeing more of you throughout the portal, and possibly on my page. :)

And yes, I WILL check out your page. I can't promise uber-long reviews, but most certainly a couple liner. :P

Enjoyed tremendously, the fx were all perfect, the the strings were so modern and dynamic and well mastered. I love the dirty synth lead which gives me interest.

The only problem i have is that the kick is so weak and so innocent, but it's perfect enough other than that.

Sounds like a Gameboy, :)

NOTE : Be generous and review my stuff too!

:)

Stylish.

I know, aswell as probably most people do. Your a professional guy, that has a heavy DJ Manian influence. Your beats, leads and basses are very easy to relate to and very easy to understand and enjoy. You are probably the best raving trance artist i've heard on Newgrounds so far. You start the track with interest and only build that interest as you go along. It gives me energy and gets me moving, literally! In most tracks you bring a nice warm feel, which is portrayed in this also. So, now that i've told you my feeling about your tunes so far.

I think it's time to confess the other though i have about you. I've listened to everyone single one of your tracks at least 5 times, literally spending a few hours contemplating. Your style can be a bit polyphonic, by this i mean, that some of your tracks have a tendancy to sound like they were made on a mobile phone, (no offence mate.) But, i've listened to you as you got more experienced and the music got better as time went on, so i think all i can see is a normal maturing change in your music. I feel your tunes sound alot like each other, i think you need to try something new, like a build up track, or an new influenced track.

Eg : Boom, Clap, Boom Clap. || I think you used this in all of your tracks, which can get a little boring when you've made so many tracks! :)

So, the track itself. It's got a European warm feel, and the way you start the track, not an obvious crash or fx. I loved the synth, it was so retro and so right for this track.

In conclusion, i wish you the best of success in getting a label and i encourage you to try what i've got on about.

NG, seems to have people that are biased and vote 0 on everything except what they like, BEFORE FUCKING LISTENING TO IT!! I think you'd agree, this is stupid and very bad for the producers confidence.

So in conclusion once again,

Great track, enjoyed.

PLEASE! Review a track or two i made, i'd love to hear your views on them, and where i could learn.

Cheers.

Not Fresh.

That bassline is so old, it's cruel, although i must say it was a great synth. The start was a bit abrupt. :)

I also enjoyed the snare, it was very clear and mastered, and really broke the track up nicely.

Check out my new tune!

Cheers.

dj-Nate responds:

Thanks man. I will.

Enjoyed.

The bass at the start was a bit out of tune but when you burst into the pad and introduced the lead, i got very interested. Where did you get the midi? Can i do a remix also?

Finally, what happened to the ending? It cuts out.

Check out my tunes too!

Cheers.

ZeRo-BaSs responds:

Thank you for your review!

"Finally, what happened to the ending? It cuts out."
Well..as i said in the description this is a loop from the full song...because as you know, the Audio Portal files can't be bigger than 4000kb
The full version ,at a good quality, was something like 7000 kb..so i decided to give you a decent quality file..loopable =D

"The bass at the start was a bit out of tune" really? i found it very appropriate for this track!
Ty for your awesome feedback! it helps me a lot!
