A cute production?

I really enjoyed this, and the only way I could describe it was, as a cute production. The melodies are really happy, and so is the bass. Although if you had sidechained the bass it would have sounded alot better! I like the bleeps, but they need more reverb, and the overall song needs more width.

I like the main melody, it's really positive.

Your alot better at producing than before. :O

Nav responds:

I actually had the sidechained bass, but supposedly it was too cheesy, so I did a frequency split, and only sidechained the bass portion, so that the bassline is clearly visible without muddying up the bass region.

I agree that the bleeps could use more reverb, but I had a send as the reverb, and I didn't want to add another unit... my CPU was being killed :S. I agree that it needs more width. I was so busy correcting the obvious flaws that I forgot about that. I might go back and change it later.

Thanks for the review! :)

Split Personality !?

Mate, the beginning is fantastic, really gets you in a calm state of mind, but the thin little sine you bring in ruins the amazing sfx in my opinion. You should get rid of it, and use a scary piano instead, and when the beat comes in keep the fx going with the two, because when the beat comes in and the SFX fade, your track loses its fullness. You can let it fade at the break, but not this early! As the bass comes in, my point is strengthened, imagine what that bass would sound like with that SFX? It's a very nice bass, and I like the directness of the percs. The little pad in the background is very good also, keeps it driving.

Heres what you should do :

- Keep the SFX throughout with the bass, and then break with a pad and piano which is haunting.
- Maybe add one more loop to give the track a little more drive.
- Maybe you could bring the bass in after 17 bars (Yes that quick)
- GET RID of that sine at the start, it's really annoying and very unprofessional.

Otherwise, this is downloaded and well enjoyed.

Nav responds:

Ok, I will take your advice. See, I was using timestretching pads here, so I didn't know what I would get. I'll be sure to take it out!

I'm see what I can do about bringing the bass in the intro. Thanks for the review! :D

Hands Up Feel.

Track is good, only complaint is the repetition, we are trying to save trance from it's criticism of being called Repetitive junk, and are constantly trying to find ways to make it less repetitive! Other than that, it's great. =)

Mate.

Thanks for the review of, ' Airborn. '

Here's my review of your track : The melody of this is lovely, and the pattern it plays it quiet unique, which is rare for this type of trance. The major complaint i have is that the whole track needs compression, and i realise that is the case because my volume is halfway and it's stinging my ears! Otherwise, no complaints with anything, good overall track that's got a buzz to it.

=)

Yourz-Truly responds:

LOL nice putting a zero lol but ty n the compression is messed up with it n im tring to fix but haveing trobble figureing it out

Nice.

Relaxed and chilled out mate, like that deep bass, i think you need to add a rolling bass onto it and it will sound wonderful!

Some Work, But Positive.

There's nothing wrong with the production, try to put the volume down and it will sound alot better!

shfonny responds:

k, man... i guess it must be the high-pass filter on the drums in the beginning,.. cuz it seems to trick people into turning up their volume, only to be blown away... but thanks for the positive review....

Classic.

The original is amazing, you prob got the midi from Nonstop2k? If so, i created it. =)

I like your bass and kick alot!

Good To Hear.

I like the original alot, and your remix isin't too bad either, i enjoyed it, try to work on your percs a little more! =)

Well Hello!

This review will be written as i listen, have listened 3 times now. I like the bass you start with, it's actually really nice! The kick is punchy and satisfactory, no complaints here. The loop is good but a bit too, been there done that, maybe make it more interesting with little FX's happening here and there and little hats changing their patterns, but the loop you used it fine. The break was too fast, maybe you should let the bass FILTER out then crash, it would work better. I like the melody, although the synth you use is too dry. Add some reverb, and EQ it higher then it'll sound good mate. =)

The only 2 things this is missing are :

- A better breakdown.
- More atmosphere, more things need to be happening here and there that keep the listener interested.

Good track mate! =)

Hello Again Raven. =)

Mate, i like this track, it sounds like a Markus Schulz track without the quality (JUST YET), which you'll get in time.

I like the melody and the bass, and the closed hat is cool.

Promising is the word. :)
