Great.

Love the main melody, and you add alot of nice SFX and a big beat to give it some energy.

Enjoyed mate. :)

Rave4Yourself responds:

Thanks dude glad you liked it, Hardcore for the win. HFTW, >:D

Dislike The Genre.

My rating is not based on your track, it's based on how awful i think this genre is. This is not music, this is just dumb ass music in my eyes. Although your use of synths is nice.

I don't like this stuff.

Let me find some of your slower better stuff. :)

Rave4Yourself responds:

Lol, i find it ironic/contradictory(whatever, lol) that you review this as too fast, etc, and there you go, enjoying "Hypnotize", lol.

Ya i know i know, its ALOT different and actually has a melody, etc.

but this is gabber, if you're into hardcore/uk hardcore/happy hardcore/etc gabber grows on you eventually. not literally though, because as far as i know, gabber has no physical form, :P

Dark Beauty.

Loved the track as soon as i heard it. The piano is very much amazing, and adds a new dimension to it's whole atmosphere. I'm delighted that i found this, and the pad/choir sound in the background gives it a nice spine, and the deep voice choir is a nice addition.

I'm haunted!

Cheers. :)

MaestroRage responds:

I'm glad you liked it Pulstate! The piano has always been an instrument I've wanted to use more and more in my tracks, but it didn't seem to happen, and for the story I was trying to tell I felt it would make an excellent means, so BAM! There it is. This is also my second piano piece so I am actually quite pleased with how it turned out. I was expecting a lot more rough patches during it's construction, luckily this was not the case!

Thanks for the review, once again glad you liked it ^^.

MIB

This would have been PERFECT for Men In Black soundtrack! I mean, it would have easily been chosen because the way you use hymns are the bells.

I really like this.

Cheers. :)

MaestroRage responds:

Thanks Pulstate, I tried more conventional RPG kind of voice in the track, and let me tell you, never having tried it before, that was hard. Took a long while, but it was all worth it!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it ^^.

Ambient Suspense.

This is a huge inspiration to me, because i can see myself trying ambient suspensful trance. This portrays a vivd image and when the percussion which is masterful in all your projects when it comes in. Your by far the most professional and simply the best classical artist i've seen here.

Amazing.

Cheers. :)

MaestroRage responds:

Thanks again Pulstate, to tell you the truth this is the first time I tried putting trance into the piece, and let me tell you, it wasn't easy. Ambiance is relatively easy, a lot of repetition is involved, your style however, now that takes work.

In my eyes Euphoric Trance is the modern expression for Epic Classical, which I am into, which is why I suppose we agree with each other's music so much.

Thanks for the review pulstate, much appreciated! I'm glad you liked the piece, do keep me up to date when you release something new eh ;)?

Domination Throughout The Nation.

This is definately movie music, i can see this in a Lord Of The Rings or a movie similar. I love the strings and the driving percussion is very enjoyable.

This is great.

Cheers. :)

MaestroRage responds:

Well i'm not out to destroy anything in any Mount Doom's, but I do want to throw in a Britney Spears cd into it... I wonder how quickly the volcano would explode in its rage...

In any case, i'm glad you liked the piece, thank you for the review ^^.

Glowing Darkness.

Starts very dark, and has some nice variety, but i think you chose the wrong synths for this kind of track. When you break into the lighter stuff, it's a sloppy transition, you need to use some panning and fading and some pitch change, because it'll help your transitions.

If i'm being totally honest, i didn't like this track, but i do feel you need to keep producing music mate, and maybe learn Reason or Cubase, because you'll get no where in Garageband.

Cheers. :)

Music-story responds:

Hmm,well one good thing is I know now how to make my own loops. The bad thing is I don't know how to pan and fade anything yet. Note:I did do some pitch change. That I can do. I'm still in the learning process with garageband 3. Logic is the better program for mac but it is really expensive. If you can tell me how to pan and fade with garageband 3 please tell me. I take too long to learn things. Besides that...DARK??? that was not my intention..I wanted a cherry happy song. Thanks for review

Professional.

Very professional sounding piece, is it original? The only problems with this track i have is :

A) Quality.
B) Lead is too high.
C) Lack of variety to percussion.

What i love :

A) Pad.
B) Filtered Lead.
C) The Beat.

Check out my stuff!

:)

Winterwind-NS responds:

A.) yeah i had to sacrifice quality to submit a 6:14 long song heh
B.) i guess
C.) Sowwy

A.) yay
B.) yay
C.) yay

i'll check out ur stuff soon!
thanks for the review

Attempted Perfection.

The track's SFX are amazing, seems to be your strength at dance/trance stuff. I loved the begining bass and beat and percussion. It was annoying the way you suddenly cut everything and went to the pad which also came out of nowhere, but the bass really helps this track to drive on.

Cheers.

Review some of my stuff also, please. :)

D-Hawk-2007 responds:

thanks, I will keep that in might for my nest music, thanks alot!

HardStuff.

I liked the beginning, and the sound effects were very nice. I love when you introduce the synth and the percussion, it's a nice addition. The beat is a bit of a disappointment because it's so high toned or pitched, maybe an EQ problem? But it's not too noticable unless you make it, which i usually do. I can hear some nice VEC samples in this being used well. The lead is nice, it's nicely filtered in and out and it explodes well enough, but when you expect a big energetic driving track, it's exactly what you get, but the track overall is a bit plain, i mean you've got SFX and a lead, bass and beat and percussion. It just feels like somethings missing. Hope you enjoyed this review.

Please check out my stuff!

Cheers. :)

MattBlair responds:

Thank you very much for your review! I hope to be seeing more of you throughout the portal, and possibly on my page. :)

And yes, I WILL check out your page. I can't promise uber-long reviews, but most certainly a couple liner. :P
